I think Nick listened to The Velvet Underground and was rather perplexed by the whole experience, thus perused it. Listen to Nico (1967) and you tend to understand his disposition when Clale entered the scene. I wonder how many Drake fans would visit the flat on Hampstead had it not been crumbled. I for one would like to have seen where Bryter Layter was written…

The interior, if it were still standing, I would propose to make a museum place out of the sort in which you find Keats’ place on Hampstead now.
It is becoming ever clearer to me that Drake will be thought of as Keats is today within a century. I am being deadly serious.
For all, the place history of a person is either about where that person was born, where they died, or where they blossomed; I am about the latter.
