| Does anyone know what make of guitar Nick played? I am in the market for an acoustic as the one I bought for thirty dollars in Greenwhich Village is exhausted and difficult to play. I am sure I wont be able to afford top of the line anything although I would like a warm sounding guitar that is nice and ringing and not too hard to play fingerpicking style. I very much appreciate any advice from fellow Nick appreciators. |

| Its almost sure Nick played most of the time a small bodied guitar. People used to think he played the GUILD M20 (of the Bryter Layter cover), which is an all mahogany guitar. Today its known that the GUILD M20 didnt belong to Nick, and was only used for the picture. Still, lots of people believe he used an all mahogany small bodied guitar, because this guitar sounds a lot like the guitar(s) used on Nicks records. Some characteristics of such a guitar are |
