i have not heard nick's take on this yet ! just found out that he had this new blues/covers/home recordings out , will get it soon tho. i heard the cocaine tune done by many peeps and they all put their own mileage in on it , like nick's "been smoking too long" anyway, here's some chords i use for it ! and these words are diff. but, you can change them up to whatever!
C go down scott C7 turn up main
F lookin' for that little girl Fm/C who sells cocaine
C cocaine! G runnin' all around my C brain F C G
then it just repeats to any lyrics you want ,these might be from the jackson browne thing ? the Fm/C is just F minor with a C " 5th" in the bass. and the C F C G thing is like and old light'in hopkins country/ragtime refrain/turnaround..the tune can be play @ any tempo!
hope this helps ! if not? thats means nick even did this old trad. tune different than everyone one else on the planet , which is so way cool to me! and just like nick to do..
i be getting the new CD soon and take a listen and maybe i can reblogg it out..
