Im experimenting a bit with tunings, as I think Ive pretty much exhausted standard. Anyway, I wondered what the logic is behind Nicks tunings. He only seems to have used a dozen and concentrated on only a few of those. Joni Mitchell on the other hand seems to have used far, far more. If youve got big hands and a small guitar, can you pretty much play anything with the dozen Drake tunings? I sense he was something of a perfectionist, so if there were more possibilities he wouldve used them.
