Ive been an immense fan of the beuaty that is the music of Nick Drake for the past few years after a friend of mine showed me Cello Song.

I have all of Nick's official albums but unfortunatly am missing the ultimatly rare and discontinued Tanworth-In-Arden.

I have two questions.Firstly, ddoes anyone know where the afformentioned album is easily available for a decent enough price?

Secondly, why does everyone say that Nick only had Three albums (Excluding Tanworth-In-Arden as that was just home recordings and cover songs) as Made to Love Magic seems to be a completly new album.Granted it has a few songs that were done before such as River man and Thoughts of Mary Jane but it also does offer a good amount of new songs.

Thanks

Thanks Susan.I was actually under the pretence that Made to Love Magic was recorded in a final studio session. Well excluding River Man and Thoughts of Mary Jane as they were original Recordings of Nick which were lefet in one of his friends Greenhouses for over 20 years.

hi ian - funnily enough, i have just ordered Tanworth in Arden cd from cd/101.uk for 10.99. This has got18 songs on of which 10 are originals and 8 covers (i think). If, like me, you are looking for The Complete Home recordings including the monologue of nick spekaing into his tape recorder upon returning home drunk from a party! and an interview with john martyn - then watch this space - once I know ill let you know ;o)
