Talent Contest
Purple Book Productions are running a talent contest for children aged 7-18 years. There are three age categories; 7-11, 12-15 & 16-18. We are looking for creative young people in the South of England, including dancers, singers, musicians and entertainers! Contestants can enter individually, as a duet or in groups and the deadline for applications is 20th June 2005. The heats will be held on Saturday 2nd July 2005 and the finals on the Saturday 23rd July 2005 at Haslemere Hall, Surrey. Tickets will also be available for the finals.
The talent contest is sponsored by Chamberlain Music, XYZ salon and Pop Academy Guildford.
Prizes
1st Prize is £100 cash plus a week at the Pop Academy Summer School in Guildford, which is the UK’s first school dedicated to the Pop industry. If the contestants are entering representing their school or tutor, and they win 1st place, the school/tutor will also receive £50. There are also fantastic runner up prizes for 2nd and 3rd prize.
