Which songs really have an effect on you when you're in depression. I mean, the songs which help you to be in good mood again. Interisting, which kind of melodies will be the most of all.

To be honest when I'm down I usually put on more 'depressing' or sad music. Dunno why but it seems kinda comforting and in a way makes me feel a lil better. _________________ "I'm a colour reporter, but the city's been bled white" |

| There are so many but personal favourites include "There She Goes" by The Las or maybe "Love Shack" by the B52s. Not particularly 'cool' or world changing but good old fashioned pop. |

As a kid I used to listen to "I believe" by Joe Satriani. I could guarantee that by the end of the sond, I would be calm and happy again. Must be the guitarist in me.
I've got 3 at the moment though;
"Scars and Mountains" by Patrick Briscoe
"Northern Sky" by Nick Drake
"Feels so good" by John Martyn |

Almost everything by the Beach Boys can always bring my spirits up.
And yeah, the B-52s rock---lobster!
Northern Sky always makes me feel safe & serene-happy in a quiet strength kind of way, rather than jump up and shout happy kind of happy. |

| When I need music to make me feel calm, I mostly use Brian Eno, especially his Thursday Afternoon album. |
