This guy is pretty obscure but I strongly recommend you listen to his double album Sunrise/Street Singer.

Mostly folk based with rock, jazz and eastern influences and he was a big inspiration to a young Donovan.

The War Drags On and Goldwatch Blues are both Softley's songs that Mr Leitch covered. If you are a fan of Donovan's, you really should look for these albums and even if you're not they are well ahead of their time and stunning.
