| On Friday evening, October 5, the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, CA will host "A Place To Be - A Celebration of Nick Drake." At 8 P.M. there will be a showing of the documentary film, "A Skin Too Few." Afterwards, Joe Boyd and Gabrielle Drake will discuss Nick's life and work and I'll be on hand to demonstrate some of his songwriting techniques. This will be followed by a group of short films created by admirers including Heath Ledger, Jonas Mekas and Tim Pope. Tickets are available at the box office the night of the event. I really hope this can be recorded and be put up as an audiofile on Bryter Music or something, as they did with the SBSW panel discussion.
