| Does anyone have any idea what type of organ is played by John Cale on Northern Sky? It has a very ethereal and light sound unlike church organs etc. |

| According to Trevor Dann in Darker Than The Deepest Sea it's a Hammond organ (p. 144). It doesn't say what type though. |

| After doing a lot of listening and research. I am starting to think it is a fender rhodes now. Still not certain though. Will probably never know for certain. Like much in the Nick Drake story! |

The book in the 1979-Fruit Tree edition mentions he plays Celeste, piano and organ. |
