Unfortunately my laptop succumbed to a viral infection (taking with it my entire digital music library) and having spent some months replacing it all I still can't find the composite Place To Be fingerpicked version. It definitely hasn't been released commercially but I can't remember where I got it from originally...

There is a rippable Youtube video but the sound quality is much poorer than the version I had: do any members have the mp3 of this track, or is anyone able to point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Are you referring to the one from the bootlegs (taken from the Brian Wells tape)? Whether this version is fingerpicked or not I couldn't say Smile

If so, try PM-ing user Nathan, he has those and is willing to share. That's how I got them.

http://www.dnd.utwente.nl/~schol/Nick_Drake_-_Place_to_be_reconstructed.mp3

It is the whole song with the preserved original recording of the 2nd half.

Yes, because I used the better sounding part as a reference and corrected the pitch of the lesser recording accordingly. Idea
