Hi All

No doubt some of you will have already seen this, but I hadn't and found it very interesting. Certainly worth a read.

Thanks very much for posting this, Seran. That's 2 great articles I've read in the last week - this one and also 'Memories of Nick Drake (1969-70), Dr Ross Grainger' posted by Narcissus on 24/5.

Thanks Seran! Very good research from Richard Morton Jack! You would have expected the biographers had included this stuff in their books, but I recognize just a few of the articles/quotes.

Yes,great article,thanks.
Regarding the above mentioned bench photo, having just seen the Wimbledon final is it me or is there quite a facial resemblance here between Nick and tennis ace Rafael Nadal? Before you dismiss it out of hand have a look at this comparison photo of the 2 of them...

Actually there is. But Rafael Nadal looks a lot like my son too (much to the delight of his female friends - including me :) ).

But I think that photo must be part of the Keith Morris 'Pink Moon' photo-shoot. Some of those photographs of Nick are heart-wrenching, but in this one there seems to be a glimmer of hope.

If only, if only....

How funny - I too had thought the same about the Nick/Nadal resemblance - thought it was just me being weird! Made me all the more disappointed that Nadal lost the final!

Ha! I don't see that at all!

Now, Roger Federer/Quentin Tarantino...that's another matter...
